The miniature USB DAC and headphone amplifier from Astell&Kern allows you to enjoy high-quality sound even without a headphone connection on your smartphone. Connect the AK HC3 to your smartphone, tablet, Windows PC or Mac via the USB-C port and experience detailed, faithful and powerful sound. With the included USB-C to Lightning adapter, the AK HC3 is also compatible with iOS devices such as iPhone and iPad. It has a 3.5 mm headphone jack to connect your headphones or earphones. If your headphones or earphones have a microphone in the cable, these signals are transmitted from the HC3 to the smartphone so that you can continue to make calls. However, control signals such as play/pause are not transmitted.
